Central Vietnam

The central region of Vietnam is definitely seeing many developments over the years, especially along the coastline. Numerous resorts are popping up in Da Nang, the fourth largest city in Vietnam, which is an important port town, and a new frontier for expats in Vietnam. Venture a bit south along the coastline, and you will discover Quy Nhon, a tranquil town that is seeing more and more resorts popping up on its untouched beaches. Now that we are mentioning coastal cities, we must not forget Nha Trang, which is a true sensation for foreign tourists and investors alike. The tourism infrastructure along the central Vietnamese coast is slowly gaining its footing, for better or worse. Of course, in this region, you will find Hue and Hoi An, the former being capital of Vietnam for a short while, and the latter gaining a reputation of an “Asian Venice.” Both are getting slightly swathed in its tourism potential, unlike the Central Highlands, which lurk further inland. This part of Central Vietnam features lone roads and villages, through hilly areas and ethnic minority villages. There are a few notable towns in this area, such as Kon Tum, Pleiku, and Dalat, which will keep your interest for days to come!
